Bob Rehl, President

Bob has been a member of Partner With Haiti since 2011 and has been to Haiti 12 times. He has served as the chairman of the Water and Agricultural Committees and am currently The Vice  President/Mission director.


In 2014, he helped start the Youth organization and has led 7 Youth Mission trips involving over 40 High School students.

Jim Stitt, Immediate Past President

Mr. Stitt and his wife, Loretta, first traveled to Haiti in 1999. He has been an active member of PWH since its founding that year and President since 2008. He has been to Haiti thirteen times and in 2010 co-lead a successful effort to establish a full-time clinic operated by PWH. He is retired from a 35 year career with Duke Energy in various management and executive positions. He holds BSEE, MSEE, and MBA degrees.


Loretta and Jim have three grown children and five grandchildren. They are active members of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in St. Petersburg. From 2002 to 2003 they hosted two teenage Haitian medical patients in their home.

Christine McAlarney, Treasurer

Christine McAlarney has been an active member of Partners With Haiti since 2016. She serves as a member of the Board of Directors and on the Executive Committee as the Treasurer.  Christine is a CPA and holds a Master of Accounting and Bachelor of Business Administration with a Major in Accounting.  


She is a shareholder at Mayer Hoffman McCann where she provides audit and financial reporting services to both domestic and international companies in the public and private sectors, which includes commercial and SEC. She serves in the firm’s national office as a knowledge leader in the application of PCAOB audit standards, the firm’s related audit methodology, and technical accounting areas of derivative financial instruments, share-based compensation, fair value, complex debt and equity arrangements, and business combinations.


Christine, her husband, Hank, and two daughters, Kyla and Naomi, are all active members of St. Paul’s Catholic Church and her children attend St. Paul’s Catholic School.

Lou Pekrul

Lou first traveled to Haiti with his wife, Peggy, in 2002. After that trip he took on the responsibility of coordinator of PWH, a position he held until 2014.

Now retired from a teaching career of 44 years, he has begun work with PWH to further the educational opportunities of the children of St. Bernadette and Titans schools.

Joseph DiVito

JOSEPH A. DIVITO is a shareholder in the law firm of DiVito, Higham & Vasti, P.A., in St. Petersburg, Florida. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Spring Hill College (1974), and a Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law (1977).   He is licensed to practice law in the State of Florida; the U.S. Supreme Court; and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.  His practice specialties include representation of non-profit organizations.  DiVito & Higham, P.A. has represented the Catholic Diocese of St. Petersburg since 1968, and the Catholic Diocese of Venice since 2003, serving as General Counsel for both dioceses.  He has been named to “Who’s Who in American Law (Millennium Edition) and has been recognized as one of Tampa Bay’s Top Lawyers.   He is the past chair of the Member Benefits Committee of both the Florida Bar and the St. Petersburg Bar Association and has served two terms as a member of the Executive Committee of the St. Petersburg Bar Association.  He is a member of numerous professional organizations.  He is active in his parish of St. Paul Catholic Church, as a lector and in the folk group and serves as a board member and corporate secretary of the parish ministry, Partners with Haiti, Inc.

Michael Konczal 

Michael amkes his home in St Petersburg,  FL and is retired from the marine industry. 

 He joined PWH 2012 aftyer reading in the church bulletin they were looking for someone who could take a corn grinder to Plain Mapou and train the people on the operation and maintenance on the unit.

After his initial trip to Haiti, he stayed on to help with follow-up maintenance on the grinder and was subsequently  appointed agriculture director.

2 years later he became Water Director and was voted onto the board of trustees in charge of water and agriculture. 

One of his favorite memories of Haiti is of quiet nights spent on top of the cistern with good friends!

Alison Cobb

After joining PWH, Alison took her first trip in March 2016. Her visits to La Gonave and Anse-a-Galet have inspired her to continue returning to Haiti for years to come.
